Marshall Handmade Market is here Nov 17th & 18th

Marshall Handmade Market

Join us for our tenth annual Handmade Market!

The Marshall Handmade Market will be held the weekend before Thanksgiving at Marshall High Studios in Marshall, NC, from 10am to 5pm. The studios are housed in a 1920’s two story brick high school, which is nestled on a little island in the French Broad River. On show day the spacious, sunny auditorium is filled with some of the best makers in the region, and the resident artists open the doors of their classrooms-turned-studios to visitors. We’ll have delicious Thai food from the Bun Intended food truck, sweet and savory pastries from OWL Bakery, a musician or two, and plenty of seating on the generous back deck. Our idyllic island setting, the charming historic high school and fantastic artists all combine to make the Marshall Handmade Market a favorite among holiday markets for locals and visitors.

The Marshall Handmade Market is coming to the Island on Saturday November 18th

Marshall Handmade Market

The Marshall Handmade Market offers an incredible array of locally made items from pottery, jewelry, cards, botanicals, hand carved spoons, leather goods, paintings, baked goods and much more.

Come see the what’s for sale at the Market on Saturday November 18th on the island at Marshall High Studios from 10-5. Better yet make a weekend of it and come stay at the Marshall House Inn (we’ve still got some rooms available), visit the market and relax afterwards at one of Marshall’s fine eateries or hangouts.

Important update regarding COVID-19

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and based on guidance from state and local health officials, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the Inn out of caution for the health and safety of our staff, guests and our community. For anyone with reservations scheduled through March 31, 2020, we will be in touch shortly to discuss the next steps.

We are still accepting reservations for summer and fall and hope to see you then.

We understand that you may have questions and we will do our best to get back to you as quickly and as transparently as possible while this dynamic situation unfolds.

Thank you in advance for your continued support and understanding. We wish you and your loved ones good health and safety in these trying times.

Sincerely,
John & Kerstin Davis
