Historic inn getaway along the river. A beautiful property located on the side of a steep hill overlooking the French Broad river. Professional renovations and hotel comforts. We enjoyed take-out meals from a couple of really good local establishments on their wide porch. Clean, spacious, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended. A perfect location for our anniversary celebration. Day trips into the mountains to visit waterfalls.Daddy_Davo6/17/2020
Such a nice place! Beautiful building and location. Loved spending time with our nice hosts, plus the dog and cat. They put breakfast items in our room before our arrival (for COVID-19 regulations): granola, milk, OJ, etc)- it was fantastic, as was sitting out on the lovely porch in the evenings. Highly recommend. The drive out from Asheville is also beautiful, if you're heading that way.Kara6/16/2020

Our stay was wonderful. The Inn itself is lovely and Marshall is a beautiful and small mountain town. The Continental breakfast is the best you'll ever have with fresh scones, quiche and farm fresh eggs boiled to perfection. We spent every morning watching the sunrise from the front porch. The inn is in close proximity to great hiking as well as lots of water sports and fishing.Beth3/16/2020

I had a wonderful time at the Marshall House Inn! The inn is absolutely stunning. It is obvious that a lot of time and love has been poured into the renovation of this home, with the perfect mix of historic details and modern amenities. The location is perfect for exploring Marshall. I stayed in Room 1, which offered a beautiful view of downtown. Breakfast was delightful (the brickleberry scones were PHENOMENAL). Just lovely! The room and common areas were cozy and spacious, with beautiful views over downtown Marshall. Only a quick 3 minute walk to downtown, but the space is so welcoming we enjoyed just hanging out there as much as exploring the town.Briana1/14/2020
