In addition to your room you can enjoy these common spaces of the Marshall House Inn

2nd Floor common area

The 2nd floor sitting area provides guests with a common area to relax, read or mingle as well as to enjoy our complimentary locally roasted coffee, tea, beverages, muffins and snacks.

Downstairs Fireplace and seating area

Curl up by the fire (in season) and enjoy a good book or a cup of hot cocoa. On the fireplace you'll see pictures of James H. White and his wife Annie Mae White who built the house in 1903 as their residence.

The Grand Porch

Read a book, enjoy a beverage or just relax on the porch overlooking downtown Marshall and the French Broad river. It's also a perfect spot to watch the sun set over the mountains.
