  • 5 star ratingLovely! Relaxing stay in this beautiful bed and breakfast! My daughter and I stayed in room 4 which had 2 rooms and 1 bathroom. The beds were super comfortable and made for a wonderful night's sleep. I recommend bringing bath supplies so you can take a nice hot bath in the stunning claw foot tub. The porch is perfect for a relaxing read or nice glass of wine. Plus you have the pleasure of... read more

My husband and I stayed at the Marshall House Inn to kick off a friends' getaway a bit early, and we were DELIGHTED with our stay! Incredible views from our room, of the adorable town of Marshall, the river, and hills. The room was spacious and impeccably decorated, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hospitality was top-notch without being intrusive (like some other bed & breakfasts we've stayed at). The owners have... read more

  • Took a "siblings" trip to Black Mountain and Marshall, N.C. to reconnect with cousins and enjoy some family time. The Marshall House Inn suited our needs perfectly! We stayed in rooms #2 and #3 and could not have been happier. The location was ideal, the rooms were nicely appointed, and breakfast and coffee was delicious. We would absolutely return and highly recommend the Marshall House Inn to others!

It is on a bluff overlooking The French Broad River, which has a significant current and is beautiful to watch.. The one main street is short but this is square in the middle of everything. We stayed in the largest room, #3, and it was really spacious with a HUGE bed and... read more

A charming and cozy inn and a hidden gem of a town! John pointed us to live music (MadCo) and good food (Sweet Monkey) to top it all off. Really a special place that has obviously been created out of love. Highly recommend!
